My self-improvement thread for 2013 - Chess Forums | Free Online ...

Long time no posting!
After taking over a year break and pursuing other hobbies for a while, I am back and ready to give my self some more goals to achieve in my chess career. As I play all of my games (at this point) on chesscube.com, I only have one goal in that respect:
1) Hit 2100 on chesscube

To get there, I plan on improving my game in certain aspects:
1) Improve my opening repertoire
- Learn Grunfeld to a comfortable level
- Try and learn the Modern Benoni (although right now I am not having much success with it)
- Learn Ruy Lopez instead of Guioco Piano
2) I have 2 books on tactics that I plan on studying to improve my tactics:
- Chess training pocket book ('300 most important positions & ideas')
- Complete book of chess stratagems
3) Improve my level of play by analyzing every game I lose/draw and most of the games I win if I think that I could have played better than I did

In this thread I will post my games with the analysis I have done and you guys can watch, suggest improvements, etc.

Enjoy!
P.S: I will have to relearn how to make PGN files. Can someone post a link to a tutorial because there are a few things I forget how to do/never knew how to do such as putting extra variations in the game.
